DoorRestore was launched in 2008 by Steve and Kimberly Lightfoot who combined, have nearly 20 years of experience in the door industry. They own and operate Grand Door Company, Inc., a custom wood door manufacturer in College Station, Texas.

After years of visiting with many Grand Door Company customers both before and after the sale, it became apparent that the necessity of proper finishing and routine maintenance of any wood door is something that most people are not aware of.
Steve and Kimberly started DoorRestore to provide these needed services to the local community with plans to eventually expand into other cities.
Our Mission
DoorRestore was created to accomplish the following:
To educate homeowners on the proper care of wood and fiberglass doors and to build the reputation of wood doors in general. Some homeowners have regretted buying wood doors because within a short amount of time their finishes began to fail because the doors were improperly finished to begin with and/or they were not aware of maintenance needs.
To inform homeowners that there is now a professional and reputable company to provide the needed care.
To serve our customers well. It is very rewarding to restore a door that previously looked like it was headed to the dump and after restoration looks better than new.
To be a business of integrity. In today’s marketplace it is all too common for a business to take advantage of its clients and otherwise operate without morals and ethics. We seek to honor God by operating our business in a manner that strives to always do right by our customers, employees, suppliers, and investors.
